Wellness at Awbury

Awbury Arboretum is a place to connect with nature and to seek wellness.  Sometimes that looks like a yoga pose and deep breathing, and other other times that looks like jogging with your dog or participating in group fitness dancing.

Our wellness classes are donation based – suggested minimum of $5 per class.

 

MONDAYS, 7:00 – 8:00 AM: Wellness Walks

  • January – August 2021
  • Let’s take a walk together and get to know our Awbury community.  Each week we will offer a theme: how to deal with stress, the history of Awbury, the birds of Awbury, etc. 
  • Please park and meet at the entrance to The Farm at Awbury (6336 Ardleigh Street)

MONDAYS in APRIL, 10:00 – 11:00 AM: Vinyasa Flow Yoga

  • April 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th
  • Please park on Ardleigh St and meet at the Cope House (1 Awbury Rd)

WEDNESDAYS in APRIL, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Chair Yoga

  • Please park on Ardleigh St and meet at the Cope House (1 Awbury Rd)

THURSDAYS in APRIL, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM:  Afro-House Dance

  • Traditional West African dance fused with house dance, cardio, and fitness
