Awbury is the largest remaining continuous tract of natural land in Germantown. Founded by a family of Quaker merchants, it became a public arboretum more than one hundred years ago. It’s a lot of precious responsibility to manage, and the importance of a core community of support can’t be overstated.
Today, Awbury is a haven for both social and biological diversity. Membership expresses shared values and drives our mission forward like nothing else can.
All board members must hold active membership, and only members can vote in our annual board elections.
