Please note: This page is intended for tenants of the Farm at Awbury to finalize rental bookings, including payment, for events that have already been approved. The first step is to complete the Reservation Request form; then after you’ve heard back from Grace Wicks confirming availability, you’ll use this page to finish the process.

Thank you for your support of the Farm at Awbury! The rental fees collected help keep the grounds of the Farm maintained, insured and free and open to the public every day of the year, as well as support free our community programs. Thank you for making this work possible.
SPACES AVAILABLE FOR EVENT RENTAL
Education Center: The Education Center is a 1,000 sq ft building divided into two sections: the farm kitchen (includes oven, stove and sink) and the garden classroom. There are two private indoor bathrooms, one on each side, and the entire building is wheelchair accessible. The Education Center is climate controlled with heating and air conditioning. A deep front porch with 3 picnic tables provides a sheltered outdoor seating area. The capacity of the Education Center is 30 people inside and 20 people outdoors for a total of 50 guests.
Pavilion: The open air Pavilion is a 1,000 sq ft structure providing shade and cover from rain while retaining the feeling of being outdoors on the farm. 8 picnic tables provide seating for 48 people with plenty of additional space for mingling. The pavilion can comfortably accommodate groups of 50 -100 people with a mix of standing and sitting room. There is a publicly accessible porta potty in proximity to the Pavilion.
Welcome Lawn: The Welcome Lawn is an expanse of grass that stretches between the Pavilion and the Education Center. Rental reservations for more than 50 people include the lawn which provides a pleasant adjacent spillover area for larger events booked in the Education Center, the Pavilion or both.

Your rental is specific to the highlighted areas of the map. You may not block entrances to the farm, or wheelchair accessible pathways. The public has the right to access the Farm from dawn to dusk 365 days a year. Your right to deny public access only pertains to the area that you are renting, as highlighted on the map. The rest of the Farm and access to it via roads and paths remains intact for the active use for other tenants and the public. While we always keep driving on the farm grounds to a minimum, the roads on the farm grounds must remain clear of obstructions.
Please be considerate of our neighbors and farm community when driving, using amplified sound, and congregating. Please do not disturb the peace.
As a Farm tenant you are eligible for special rates. The hourly rental rate per area varies based on the following factors:
Time of year: Winter rates in January and February are $25/hr per space any day of the week
Sharing space: Compatible overlap with Awbury Programs like Fun Day or Wild Wisdom are $25/hr per space any day of the week. Please note that event set -up and break-down times as well as any related driving must be compatible with program use. These rates only apply to areas that overlap with scheduled programs.
Day of the week: Weekday rental price: $25/hr per space. Weekend rental rates March – December are as follows:
Over 200 people and ticketed events are given a quote based on the nature of their event.
If you are working with a caterer, we require a copy of their certificate of liability insurance, in the minimum amount of $1,000,000, naming Awbury Arboretum as additionally insured.
If there will be alcohol at your event, we require liquor liability coverage, in the minimum amount of $1,000,000, naming Awbury Arboretum as additionally insured.
PROMOTIONS AND RESERVATIONS
Please make clear on your promotional materials that your event is not sponsored or run by Awbury Arboretum or use the Awbury logo for promotional purposes unless previously discussed and approved by Awbury staff member in writing.
Please make clear in your promotional materials who the public can contact to purchase tickets and answer questions. Our staff does not handle inquiries for rental event information or ticket sales.
After you have completed the Reservation Request form and received confirmation from Grace Wicks regarding this event, use the following form to book and pay for the event rental, at least 30 days prior to the event.
Please also supply any required certificates of insurance 30 days prior to event
