Spring 2025 Programs
Intro to Archery & Wilderness Survival
CANCELED. We will offer again in the fall.
Learn basic safety protocols for archery and whittling (carving with a knife). In archery, learn the parts of the bow and arrow, proper stance, grip, and aim. Learn how to build shelters, how to lay and light campfires, field first aid, wild foraging, campfire cooking, and knot tying.
Participants: children ages 8-12; 16 students maximum
Fee: $200 for 8 weeks ($190 for Member Families)
Dates: Thursdays, March 20-May 8, 2025
Time: 4:00-6:00 pm
Intermediate Wilderness Survival
CANCELED. We will offer again in the fall.
Practice more advanced drills and skills in archery. Whittle simple tools. Build advanced shelters, make matchless campfires, advanced field first aid, wild foraging, campfire cooking, and more complex knot tying.
Participants: children ages 10-14; 16 students maximum
Fee: $200 for 8 weeks ($190 for Member Families)
Dates: Mondays, March 17-May 5, 2025
Time: 4:00-6:00 pm
