In this presentation, Troy Bynum will share techniques he uses to capture his beautiful bird images. Featuring birds from around the tri-state area, including Wissahickon Valley Park, John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge, Carpenter Woods, Palmyra Cove Nature Center, and Barnegat Lighthouse State Park, Troy Bynum will give suggestions and can answer questions to help you improve your own photography.  Whether you are interested in photographing birds or just enjoy looking at photographs to improve your knowledge of birds, this presentation is not to be missed. It is the last presentation scheduled for Awbury’s Year of Birds programming.

Part of 2022: Year of The Birds at Awbury Arboretum

Troy Bynum is a wildlife photographer and avid birder local to the Philadelphia area. He grew up in Mt.Airy and spent a lot of time exploring Wissahickon Valley Park as a kid, where his interest and love for nature began. As Troy grew, so did his admiration for nature – wildlife to be more specific.

Now, Troy spends most of his free time exploring natural areas around the tri-state area in search of beautiful birds. He specializes in showcasing the beautiful patterns, texture, and colors found throughout nature. We often overlook a lot of things that nature has to offer and Troy is on a mission to spark interest in others to go outside and explore the world around them.
