New Year Bird Hike

Start the New Year by getting outside and enjoying a guided winter bird walk with Awbury’s resident birder, Bill Reaume.

Sunday, January 2nd, 8:00 through late morning

(Participants are welcome to depart early, before the end of the hike)

Over 150 species have been recorded at this eBird hotspot, which provides 56 acres of greenery in the heart of the beautiful Germantown section of Philadelphia.  Bring binoculars if you have them, but they are not necessary. Please dress comfortably for a hike on a winter’s day.

Location: Meet at 6060 Ardleigh St, Philadelphia, by the Haines Field entrance to Awbury

Ample free street parking is available on Ardleigh St, across from the tennis courts.
