Dende Percussion Ensemble concert + Walk to Honor the Trees

Join for a very danceable musical performance by the Dendê percussion ensemble – the vital rhythms of Brazilian carnaval! We will begin with an activation of the art piece on display in the Cope House Gallery, “Flags for Other Nations”: a 20-minute meditative walk/march with colorful tree flags around an Awbury trail, to honor the trees as their own nations.
