Herbal Aid Ed (Sold out)

April 2, 2021 - April 3, 2021

Join us at Many Hands Community Apothecary at the Farm at Awbury for a nine-month course- from seed to harvest, from the garden to the apothecary- to learn about the growing, making, and distributing of herbal medicines to support home and community wellness.

We’ll cover an introduction to 40+ plants from a range of cross-cultural traditions, weaving together the wisdom from many hands and many lands that will include cultivated, wild, and native medicines of this bioregion. Each first Saturday 2-hour class will include time in the garden covering various growing methods as well as medicine processing methods including infusions, decoctions, tinctures, salves, infused honeys, vinegars, electuaries, syrups, flower essences, incense, powders, soaks, and more!

Students will leave with medicines they’ve made which will include extras for them to share, widening the reach of these shared learnings.

This class is SOLD OUT.

Herbal Aid Ed will meet April through December 2021 on the 1st Saturday of each month, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.  The first class is April 3rd.
