Using simple weaving looms, children (with their helpful adult) will use yarn and natural materials to create an original work of art that can be brought home.
This program is designed for elementary-aged children.
Cost: FREE, no registration required
Location: the Willows, in AdventureWoods, in the Secret Garden at Awbury Arboretum. Please park on Ardleigh St (near 6060 Ardleigh St) and follow signs to the Secret Garden entrance.

Julie Kring (M.Ed. in Art Education from Kutztown University and Penn State) has been teaching art at all grade levels throughout her 25 year career in schools both public and private from Coatesville to Philadelphia, Seattle and Camden. Aside from school year art education, she has spent many summers creating art with children and youth in summer camp programming. Now spending time on her own artwork of oil painting and printmaking, she is continuously inspired by the natural world and its astounding variety, complexity and beauty.
