“A unique musical experience”

A Murmur in the Trees is an event where 24 bassists from around the region will join together to perform this magical work by Eve Beglarian. A Murmur in the Trees sends these bassists into the woods to perform among the trees while the audience wanders between them listening, encountering, and making their own compositions via the journey they choose to take.

Also on this program is Touching Leaves Women by Mohican and Munsee-Lenape composer Brent Michael Davids. This new work is a commission by Network for New Music for four voices and bird roars, instruments designed and built by the composer. Both pieces are presented together in celebration of Earth Day at the Awbury Arboretum
