Awbury Spring Bird Walk with Bill Reaume
Come on out and enjoy a guided spring bird walk at Awbury Arboretum as we enter the peak of the migration season. With over 150 species having been recorded at Awbury, it is a place full of possibilities. A nice patch of green space in an area of dense housing, Awbury provides wonderful habitat for quite a nice variety of birds.
- Price: Pay what you can, No registration required
- We will be starting out at 7:30 am and finishing by late morning (9:30ish).
- Parking at the Arboretum is rather limited, so we will be meeting on Ardleigh Street directly opposite Awbury Park’s tennis courts. There is ample street parking available in this location and it’s a good place to start birding.
- We will have some binoculars to loan out, but please bring binoculars of your own if you have them. All skill levels are welcome.
Instructor
The walk will be led by Bill Reaume. Bill has been an avid birder for the past thirty-three years. He is a close neighbor of the arboretum and has participated in numerous bird surveys focused on Awbury Arboretum. He has always found birding to offer a great opportunity to connect with place and season and looks forward to sharing the joy of birding and the joy of Awbury with you.
