Join photographers Steve Weinik and Troy Bynum for a thoughtful discussion on patience—as a creative tool, a personal virtue, and a key to their work behind the lens. About the Artist:
Steve Weinik is the Associate Director of Photography and Digital Media at Monument Lab. He also maintains a robust freelance practice, including more than a decade as Mural Arts Philadelphia’s Senior Staff Photographer. Steve’s professional work focuses on artwork in public space and the artists that create it. His personal projects center on wildlife and the natural world. Go Birds: Portraits of Patience is his first exhibition highlighting this side of his work.
Troy Bynum, owner of TB Wildlife Photography LLC, is not only an enthusiastic birder but also a passionate wildlife photographer from Philadelphia, PA. Troy’s work focuses on capturing and showcasing the remarkable colors, intricate patterns, and rich textures that are abundant throughout the natural world. In his work, Troy draws attention to the oftentimes overlooked naturally occurring beauty found in the wild. Troy is on a mission to accentuate and celebrate the inherent magnificence of nature.
