This Mother’s Day make time for making memories with Mom.
Mother’s Day Sculpting en Plein Air ▪ Sunday, May 9th, 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM
In this hands-on tile workshop, led by Karen Singer, MFA, participants will create an original raised relief ceramic tile based on direct observation of the flora in bloom at Awbury Arboretum. No experience necessary.
Cost: $50 per participant, please register below, completing a separate form for each participant
Location: the Cope House tented patio and in the Arboretum landscape (1 Awbury Rd, Philadelphia)
Please note: Face masks are required. Limited restroom access is available at this time.
Your tiles will be fired following the event, which will take about 6 weeks. You will be contacted when your tile is ready for pick-up.

Karen Singer earned a Bachelor of Arts at Pitzer College in Claremont, CA and a Masters of Fine Arts at the University of Pennsylvania. She did independent work in printmaking at Ecole Des Beaux-Arts in Paris, and was awarded an apprenticeship at the Moravian Pottery and Tileworks in Doylestown, PA.
