July Community Planning Meeting
Summer is in full swing at Awbury Arboretum! While the season may bring a slower pace for some, it’s one of the busiest times of year across the Arboretum. From caring for young trees and tending gardens to welcoming visitors and preparing for upcoming programs and events, staff, volunteers, and partners are hard at work making Awbury a vibrant community space.
As part of this commitment to the community, Awbury is bringing back Community Planning Meetings. These gatherings are an opportunity for neighbors, visitors, and supporters to learn what’s happening at Awbury, share ideas, ask questions, and help shape the future of the Arboretum.
Join us Thursday, July 30, from 6:00–8:00 PM at Cope House for the first meeting. Attendees will hear about Awbury’s strategic priorities for the next two years, learn about exciting upcoming projects, and help identify the topics and initiatives they’d like to see explored in future meetings.
Building a more transparent, welcoming, and collaborative Awbury starts with listening. Whether you’re a longtime supporter or visiting for the first time, your voice is an important part of creating a place where everyone can connect with nature and one another.
Register here to join us for July’s Community Planning Meeting—we hope to see you there!
