SUNDAY FUN DAYS
at The Farm at Awbury Arboretum, 6336 Ardleigh Street
June 6th – October 31st 2021, every Sunday from 1:00-4:00 PM
Every Sunday is a Fun Day at The Farm at Awbury Arboretum! Free family-friendly activities every weekend: See the goats and chickens, take wellness classes, go on farm tours, and get your hands dirty in gardening workshops.
The Farm is always free and open to walk and explore (click here to learn more about hours & admission), but on Sunday afternoons we host special activities and Awbury staff and partner organizations at The Farm to welcome you.
Cost: All evets are FREE, no registration required

This Sunday’s special events:
• LIVE MUSIC Presented by the Philadelphia Blues Society
1:00 – 2:30 PM : Blues Music Workshop
2:30 – 4:00 PM : Blues Music Jam Session
1:00 – 4:00 PM : Blues-inspired jambalaya and biscuits, soups, ciders, teas, and more! Vegetarian and meat options available
Seed inspiration: admire a collection of seeds, learn what plants they come from, which ones are edible, and which ones to make art with.
Celebrate Fall with a leaf art project led by Maria Giancola. Select fallen leaves, learn to identify them, trace them, and combine them. Take home a found-art collage.
Planting Project: learn to plant and care for houseplants. Soil, pot, plants and instruction provided.
Sir Michael’s Science will dazzle you into loving to learn about science by making giant bubbles, slime and other fun science based party tricks.
