“The guests who came to our event, a memorial for our mother, came from different states but all had lived in the Philadelphia area at some point. They seemed to appreciate that Philadelphia had the beauty and history found at Awbury. In addition, staff member Katie was fantastic in helping us set up and run the event. The entire time, she was very helpful but never obtrusive. I would recommend Awbury to anyone else seeking an excellent location for a special event.” – Elizabeth E.
“My recent Book Launch for my newest novel, “Aunt Donsy’s Trunk,” was wonderful. I am still getting positive feedback, and it has been over a month. Everyone was impressed with the location, it really fit the mood I wanted to create. It was a successful event in a large part because of you (Branda O’Neil, Administrative Manager) – you were very helpful and supportive.” – Elaine J.

“It was a beautiful day in October to host a staff retreat at Awbury Arboretum. The open space within the facility provided ample space for our group activities. The large windows enabled the sun to shine directly into our space which helped us to maintain our energy during the lecture-intensive part of our day. It was wonderful to walk outside during breaks to get some fresh air and enjoy the well-maintained grounds. To top it off, it was delightful to work with their staff to organize this event. Specifically, Branda was professional, courteous and very attentive to our needs. We definitely encourage other organizations to use this facility for any type of event including retreats and weddings. We will definitely return to Awbury Arboretum for future events!!!” – Barbara Bungy, MPH, MBA – Program Director, Dorothy Mann Center at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.
