Making Beads from Recycled Fabric and Cloth

Make large beautiful beads from fabric scraps, wire, and beads, which can be made into earrings or necklaces or to embellish other fiber projects. Ages 12 and up, including adults who like jewelry making! Class limited to 10 students. $15, includes all supplies. This class will be held at the Francis Cope House.

The class is taught by members of the Philadelphia Guild of Handweavers.  PGHW is a non-profit organization whose mission is to foster the art and craft of weaving and the fiber arts. PGHW is located in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia. Their motto is “We learn by doing and grow by sharing.”
