Please join us for our celebration of freedom and our culinary journey from the African Diaspora to America. We will mark cuisine and traditions that have become a quintessential part of America’s Culture and History.  Our tasting journey will explore cuisine from a multi-cultural perspective and feature recipes from cookbook authors from the 18th through 21st century.

We will also feature a performance by spoken word and performing artist Victoria Peurifoy.


Mixed Grill: Chicken & Pork – Utilizing long and slow cooking traditions of 18th century Southern Cuisine, BBQ Mop, Kitchen Pepper Spice Rub – Michael Twitty
