Hands on Gardening – with Polycultures

A hands-on presentation about gardening with polycultures: the practice of growing different kinds of complementary plants in the same garden bed. We’ll examine the polyculture demonstration garden at Awbury Arboretum, and talk about the many benefits of growing companion plants in the same space, and how it can help your garden.

Presenter Biography:

Eric Blasco is a Penn State Master Gardener, who runs a gardening business, where he creates edible landscapes in yards large and small.  Combining his years of experience in locally sourced cooking, education, and organic farming, Eric designs gardens to grow food close to home.
